Virginia serves as CEO and Co-founder of Rosa Rebellion. With a heart to elevate the voices of people of color whose stories are often siloed or silenced, she co-birthed Rosa Rebellion with the ambition to create a space that disrupts harmful narratives and oppressive systems by elevating the brilliance, beauty and boldness of women of color. As a storyteller, racial justice educator and organizer, Virginia’s work sits at the intersection of community advocacy and creative activism. Beyond Rosa Rebellion, Virginia supports the development of a culture and ethos of equity for organizations, as a racial justice educator, writer and speaker, working with brands around the world, including lululemon, Bumble, the World Economic Forum, and more.

Meagan is the Co-founder of Rosa Rebellion and an attorney with a passion for racial equity and liberation from systems that were not built for us. She grounds her work in the belief that liberation is attainable with imagination, grit, collective care, and stamina.

As a civil rights attorney, Meagan encountered the consequences of systemic inequity frequently and engaged in disruptive work to create an equitable future. She also previously co-developed a curriculum designed to cultivate authentic conversations around difficult topics in an effort to disrupt harmful narratives. In her role as Co-founder, she helps to craft the strategic direction and impact of Rosa Rebellion alongside Virginia.

Anita has spent her career turning a passion for human connection and building community into fostering skills such as events coordinating, project management, and communications. She currently works as an events coordinator and strategist at lululemon as well as teaches flow yoga twice a week. As a first generation American and new mother to Ruby, 2020 inspired Anita to find a way to leverage her skills to elevate marginalized communities and amplify voices that she believes are essential for her daughter to grow up knowing. Jaleesa’s curious mind and attention to detail help streamline the organization's internal processes. Jaleesa enjoys being apart of a team of women who are committed to creating inclusive spaces for women of color. She is dedicated to sustaining the movement of creative activism and is proud to be a part of such a radical vision.

Olivia is a creative professional passionate about creating a new world through communications, art, community organizing, and education. As a network weaver and problem solver, Olivia centers praxis in all her work. She brings her lived experience as a queer Puerto Rican woman and extensive work in the nonprofit and advocacy spaces to Rosa Rebellion, elevating our stories and those of our community to their point of highest impact.

Olivia is an avid cook, plant parent, reader, and lover of sour candy.
